Reverse description The personification of Securitas, draped, is depicted seated to the right in a relaxed pose, resting her head upon her raised right hand in an attitude of contemplative repose, while her left hand holds a long sceptre. To the left of the figure, a lighted altar and torch serve as attributes reinforcing the theme of security and stability. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consulto) flanks the central type in the field, and the reverse legend is disposed around the periphery of the coin.
