She holds a caduceus in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left, emblems respectively of prosperity, peace, and abundance. The legend FELICITAS PVBLICA is disposed around the figure, with the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) placed prominently in the field, as was customary on Roman base-metal coinage of the imperial period. The surfaces are heavily worn and encrusted, with the design elements only partially legible. |
