The legend CONCORDIA AVGVSTI arcs around the upper field within a beaded border, and the senatorial authorisation mark S C appears prominently in the lower exergue, flanking the base of the throne. The composition reflects the Flavian regime's propagandistic emphasis on imperial concord and legitimate authority. |
