Beschrijving keerzijde The personification of Arabia stands facing, head turned slightly to the left, draped in long robes. She holds a bundle of cinnamon sticks or spice branches in her extended left hand and a long transverse sceptre or rod in her right hand; at her feet to the left crouches a small camel, the emblematic animal of the province. The senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the field to either side of the central figure. The legend S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI runs along the upper periphery, with ARAB ADQVIS in the exergue below, all within a beaded border.
