| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Titus facing right, draped and cuirassed, depicted as Caesar under Vespasian. The effigy is rendered in confident high relief with sharply articulated facial features characteristic of early Flavian portraiture. A continuous circular legend surrounds the portrait, reading T CAESAR VESPASIAN IMP PON TR POT COS II. The field is smooth and the flan shows slight irregularity typical of hammered bronze coinage of this period. |
