Obverse description Radiate, draped bust of Titus as Caesar facing right, portrayed with naturalistic Roman imperial style typical of the Flavian period. The radiate crown, consisting of pointed rays, identifies the denomination as a dupondius. The effigy shows characteristic Flavian facial features with a broad face and short curled hair rendered in fine detail. The obverse legend runs around the periphery of the flan, beginning at upper left and encircling the portrait.
