Reverse description The personification of Felicitas Publica stands facing left in the center of the field, depicted as a draped female figure in a long stola. She holds a caduceus in her lowered right hand and a cornucopiae or branch of grain in her raised left hand, emblematic of prosperity and good fortune for the Roman people. The large senatorial authority marks S and C flank the figure at mid-field to left and right respectively. The surrounding legend FELICITAS PVBLICA is distributed around the periphery within a beaded border, rendered in clear, well-spaced Latin capitals consistent with Flavian mint practice.
