Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Tiberius facing left, rendered in high relief with closely cropped hair depicted in fine striated curls across the crown and temple. The portrait is executed in the restrained, classicising Julio-Claudian style characteristic of Lugdunum mint production under Augustus. The neck truncation is plain, and the bust is set within a beaded border. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend distributed around the periphery.
