| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Tiberius facing left, rendered in high relief with closely cropped hair depicted in fine striated curls across the crown and temple. The portrait is executed in the restrained, classicising Julio-Claudian style characteristic of Lugdunum mint production under Augustus. The neck truncation is plain, and the bust is set within a beaded border. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend distributed around the periphery. |

| Reverse description | The Altar of the Three Gauls (Ara Trium Galliarum) at Lugdunum depicted in frontal elevation, its facade decorated with a corona civica (oak wreath) flanked by nude male figures on either side. Atop slender columns rising from each lateral extremity of the altar stands a winged Victory, each holding an outstretched wreath. The composition is monumental and hieratic, reflecting the political and religious significance of the sanctuary as the focal point of the imperial cult in the three Gallic provinces. The abbreviated legend ROM ET AVG appears in the field or exergue. |
