| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Tiberius facing left, rendered in bold relief with finely detailed wreath of laurel leaves crowning the head. The effigy displays the characteristic aquiline profile of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, with a draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The legend encircles the portrait field, partially legible around the periphery of the flan. The style is consistent with the Lugdunum mint production of the Augustan-Tiberian transitional period, with somewhat compact and assured portraiture typical of this series. |
