Obverse description Bare head of the emperor Tiberius facing right, rendered in the restrained classical style typical of early Julio-Claudian provincial coinage. The portrait features close-cropped hair with strands rendered in fine relief across the forehead, a strong jaw, and a composed, idealized expression befitting imperial dignity. The legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking of the coin.
