| Obverse description | Equestrian effigy of Emperor Tiberius in full military dress, depicted in right-facing profile atop a prancing horse, clad in paludamentum (military cloak) and cuirass. The figure raises his right arm in a commanding gesture, projecting imperial authority in the manner characteristic of provincial Roman coinage. The surrounding circular legend, rendered in Latin capitals, reads TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS P M TR POT XXXIII, recording his tribunician power in its thirty-third year. The composition follows the well-established tradition of honorific equestrian portraiture used at Hispano-Roman colonial mints. |

The three standards are rendered in considerable detail, evoking the military prestige of Caesaraugusta as a Roman colony founded by veterans. Above the standards, the colonial abbreviation C C A (Colonia Caesar Augusta) is inscribed, while the duoviri's names M CATO and L VETTIACVS appear in the legend, with the magistrates' title II VIR displayed prominently in the lower exergual area. |
