| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian facing right, the drapery visible over the left shoulder and viewed from the rear, rendered in the characteristic Hadrianic style with curled hair and short beard. The imperial effigy is presented with considerable relief against the flat field. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. |
