| Obverse description | Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, depicted with his characteristic short curly beard and wreathed head. The portrait is rendered in the high-relief Hadrianic style, with finely modelled facial features and layered laurel leaves visible above the brow. The encircling legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The coin shows a flan flaw or chip at the right edge, typical of irregularly struck bronze issues of the period. |
