Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing left, with characteristic curly hair and short beard rendered in the Hellenistic portraiture style favoured during his reign. The emperor is depicted draped and cuirassed, the truncation of the bust visible at the lower field. A beaded border encircles the design. The Latin legend runs around the periphery.
