| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Fortuna is depicted seated left on a high-backed throne, her feet resting on a footstool. She holds a long rudder in her right hand, its tip resting on the ground, and a cornucopia in her left arm, symbolizing prosperity and safe return. The Latin legend is distributed around the field, with COS III PP appearing in the upper portion and FORTVNAE REDVCI along the sides, while S C flanks the central figure denoting Senatus Consultum. The lower exergue carries the inscription COS III PP, and the overall composition is characteristic of the Hadrianic provincial return coinage of 129–130 AD. |
