| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian facing right, the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder with folds rendered in fine detail. The emperor's characteristic short beard and curled hair are depicted with careful modelling, reflecting the Hadrianic preference for Hellenistic portraiture. The legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, running from lower left to upper right across the field.
