Obverse description Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic close-cropped beard and finely detailed curling hair beneath the laurel wreath. The portrait displays the mature, bearded effigy for which Hadrian's coinage is renowned, with strong facial modeling typical of the Hadrianic artistic style. The encircling legend reads HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS distributed around the bust, partially visible along the inner border. A beaded inner border frames the design, and the flan shows the typical irregular edges of a hand-struck Roman bronze issue.

Reverse description The personification of Clementia stands in full figure facing left, draped in a flowing stola and palla rendered with fine linear detail. She extends her right hand to pour a libation from a patera, while her left hand holds a long vertical sceptre resting at her side. The large senatorial mark of value letters S and C (Senatus Consultum) are prominently placed in the left and right fields respectively, flanking the central figure. The surrounding legend COS III P P CLEMENTIA AVG is distributed around the periphery within a beaded border. The composition is characteristic of Hadrianic imperial reverse types celebrating the virtues of the emperor.
