| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short curly hair and close-cropped beard, reflecting the Hellenizing portraiture style introduced by Hadrian. The effigy displays strong, naturalistic modelling typical of the Hadrianic school of Roman imperial portraiture. The encircling Latin legend reads HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, distributed around the periphery of the flan. A dotted border frames the field. |

| Reverse description | The personification of Clementia, the divine embodiment of imperial mercy and forbearance, stands in full figure facing left in a composed, hieratic pose. She is depicted in long draped robes, holding a patera in her extended right hand and a long vertical sceptre in her left. The senatorial mark of authority, S C (Senatus Consultum), is placed in the lower field to either side of the figure. The surrounding legend, CLEMENTIA AVG COS III P P, runs around the periphery, with a dotted border enclosing the entire design. |
