| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Nero facing left, with a small globe at the base of the neck truncation. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the idealized Imperial portrait style, with the characteristic heavy features and laurel-wreathed coiffure typical of Neronian coinage. The encircling legend runs clockwise in well-spaced Latin capitals within the flat outer border of the flan. |
