Beschrijving voorzijde Radiate bust of Nero facing right, portrayed with characteristic youthful features and draped at the shoulder, the radiate crown serving as the standard iconographic convention distinguishing the dupondius from the as. The legend encircles the effigy in a continuous band around the periphery of the flan. The portrait reflects the Julio-Claudian court style, with broad facial modelling typical of Neronian coinage struck at Rome.

Opschrift voorzijde NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P
(Translation: Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestas, Imperator, Pater Patriae. Nero Claudius, Caesar, emperor (Augustus), victor over the Germans, high priest, tribunician power, supreme commander (Imperator), father of the country.)
Beschrijving keerzijde The winged goddess Victoria is depicted in flight to the left, her drapery billowing dynamically around her figure. She extends her right hand forward to present a wreath, while her left hand carries a long palm branch, both attributes emblematic of military triumph. The senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the central figure. The reverse legend VICTORIA AVGVSTI runs around the periphery, proclaiming the victory of the emperor, and the mark II appears within the legend as a series or workshop indicator.
