Obverse description Radiate bust of Nero facing left, depicted with a bearded portrait and draped shoulders, rendered in the naturalistic style characteristic of Julio-Claudian imperial portraiture. The emperor's radiate crown, a distinguishing mark of the dupondius denomination, frames the effigy prominently. A continuous circular legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The portrait displays the characteristic fleshy features associated with Nero's later reign coinage.

Reverse description The goddess Victoria depicted in full figure, nude, striding left with large spread wings, extending a wreath forward in her right hand and holding a palm frond in her left. The monogram S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed in the field, flanking the figure to either side at mid-height, within a beaded border. The mark II appears in the exergue. The composition is executed in a confident classical style consistent with Neronian orichalcum issues.
