| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Nero facing left, depicted with a bearded portrait and draped shoulders, rendered in the naturalistic style characteristic of Julio-Claudian imperial portraiture. The emperor's radiate crown, a distinguishing mark of the dupondius denomination, frames the effigy prominently. A continuous circular legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The portrait displays the characteristic fleshy features associated with Nero's later reign coinage. |

| Reverse description | The goddess Victoria depicted in full figure, nude, striding left with large spread wings, extending a wreath forward in her right hand and holding a palm frond in her left. The monogram S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed in the field, flanking the figure to either side at mid-height, within a beaded border. The mark II appears in the exergue. The composition is executed in a confident classical style consistent with Neronian orichalcum issues. |
