| Beschrijving keerzijde | The winged goddess Victoria is depicted in full figure, striding or flying to the left, her body shown in dynamic motion with wings fully extended. In her raised right hand she holds a wreath, while her left hand carries a long palm branch, both attributes emblematic of military triumph and imperial glory. The figure is rendered in a graceful, elongated style consistent with mid-first-century Imperial die-cutting. The legend VICTORIA AVGVSTI is distributed around the field, with the large senatorial authority marks S and C flanking the central figure on left and right respectively, and the mark II appearing in the lower exergual area. The reverse field shows the characteristic roughness of hammered orichalcum or bronze coinage of this period. |
