Beschrijving voorzijde Radiate bust of Nero facing left, draped at the shoulder, rendered in high relief with characteristic thick neck and heavy features typical of Neronian portraiture. The radiate crown, a conventional attribute of the dupondius denomination, is clearly visible above the imperial effigy. The encircling legend runs along the outer rim in Latin capitals. The field shows patination consistent with a hammered bronze issue of the mid-first century AD.

Opschrift voorzijde IMP NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P P P
(Translation: Imperator Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestas, Pater Patriae. Supreme commander (Imperator) Nero Claudius Caesar, emperor (Augustus), victor over the Germans, high priest, tribunician power, father of the country.)
Beschrijving keerzijde Depiction of the Temple of Janus Geminus, shown as a rectangular shrine with a latticed window on the right side and double panelled doors on the left, adorned with a garland draped across the entrance — symbolising the closing of the gates of war and the proclamation of universal peace. The structure is rendered in a flat, schematic architectural style characteristic of Roman imperial bronze coinage. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears prominently in the field, flanking the temple. The surrounding legend commemorates Nero's declaration of peace throughout the Roman world.
