| Obverse description | Draped bust of Salus Augusta facing left, depicted with an elaborate hairstyle featuring a knot bound with ribbons at the nape of the neck and a cluster of curls at the front. The portrait is rendered in the classicizing Julio-Claudian tradition, revived here under Titus as a restitution issue originally associated with Livia. The circular legend SALVS AVGVSTA runs along the periphery of the field. The overall style and execution are consistent with Flavian-era bronze coinage from the Rome mint. |
