| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in high relief with strong portraiture characteristic of the Julio-Claudian tradition. The emperor wears a laurel wreath with pronounced leaves visible above the brow, and a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The circular legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan, framing the imperial effigy within the field. |
