| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Domitian facing right, depicted with aegis or paludamentum at the shoulder, rendered in the vigorous portraiture style characteristic of the Flavian period. The emperor's effigy occupies the full breadth of the flan, with the radiating crown — the distinguishing mark of the dupondius denomination — clearly articulated.
