The goddess is depicted draped in a long garment with fine linear folds consistent with Flavian die-cutting conventions. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consulto) is placed in the field to either side of the figure, left and right respectively. The legend FORTVNAE AVGVSTI arcs around the upper portion of the reverse, dedicating the representation to the good fortune of the Augustus. The composition is well-centred within the broad flan typical of Domitianic orichalcum and bronze denominations. |
