Obverse description Radiate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, draped and cuirassed, with the characteristic radiate crown denoting the dupondius denomination. The imperial effigy is rendered in the bold, naturalistic style of Flavian portraiture. The encircling Latin legend runs along the beaded border of the coin's field.

Reverse description Fides, the personification of Public Faith and Loyalty, depicted standing left in long robes, extending a shallow patera or plate of fruits in her raised right hand and holding a bundle of grain ears in her lowered left hand. The senatorial authorization marks S C (Senatus Consultum) appear in the field to either side of the figure, flanking the standing deity. The reverse legend is disposed around the upper periphery within a beaded border.
