| Obverse description | Radiate and draped bust of Domitian facing right, rendered with fine detail in high relief. The emperor's hair is styled in tight curls characteristic of Flavian portraiture, and the aegis or paludamentum is visible at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads CAESAR DIVI AVG F DOMITIANVS COS VII, identifying him as Caesar, son of the deified Augustus, and seventh-time consul. The portrait displays confident, naturalistic modeling typical of official Flavian mint production at Rome. |

| Reverse description | The goddess Ceres stands in full figure facing left, draped in long robes and wearing a modius (grain measure) on her head. In her extended right hand she holds a bundle of corn-ears, and in her left hand she carries a long torch, emblematic of her mythological search for Proserpina. The senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the figure, flanking the goddess at mid-body. The peripheral legend CERES AVGVST identifies the deity with the imperial cult, associating the abundance and fertility of Ceres with the Flavian dynasty. |
