| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large, centrally placed civic wreath of laurel or oak occupies the entire reverse field, enclosing the mint name OSCA in two lines at its centre. The wreath is rendered in a bold, somewhat stylised provincial manner with clearly delineated leaves and berries. Surrounding the wreath, a circular Latin legend names the two local duoviri (IIviri) responsible for the coinage: G TARRACINA P PRISCO IIVIR VRBS VICT, followed by OSCA, affirming the municipal authority and civic identity of the issuing city. |

Osca was one of the few Hispanian municipia still operating a local bronze mint under Caligula, a privilege tied to the city's status as a veteran colony with roots in the Sertorian Wars. The magistrates named in the legend — P. Priscus among them — were duumviri of the town, exercising a now-rare right to authorize local coinage in the emperor's name. By the Flavian period, this kind of municipal bronze production had effectively ceased across most of the peninsula.
