Reverse description Crowned quartered shield of arms bearing, in the first and fourth quarters, the Polish White Eagle; in the second quarter, the Lithuanian Pursuer (mounted knight); in the third quarter, the Swedish lion; and on an inescutcheon at centre, the Vasa dynastic sheaf. The royal crown surmounts the shield. The date appears at the top of the field.
