Reverse description Centrally placed quartered royal coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, surmounted by a closed royal crown, and enclosed within an ornate cartouche. The quarters display the White Eagle of Poland, the Pahonia (mounted knight) of Lithuania, the Sheaf of the Vasa dynasty, and the Swedish heraldic devices, reflecting the dynastic claims of John II Casimir. The circular Latin legend MONET·AVREA·REG·POLON with the date 1660 encircles the shield. The entire design is framed by a beaded border and exhibits the characteristic bold relief of hammered gold coinage produced at the Kraków mint.
