Reverse description Central crowned quartered shield of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, bearing the White Eagle of Poland, the Pursuer of Lithuania, the Sheaf of the Vasas, and other dynastic quarters, all surmounted by a royal crown. The mint mark letter C (for Kraków) appears in the field beside the shield. The date 1649 is divided across the upper field flanking the crown. A continuous Latin legend in two concentric registers runs around the shield within a beaded border, citing the king's full titles as ruler of Poland, Sweden, and associated territories.
