| Obverse description | Central square cartouche enclosing Devanagari inscriptions arranged around a central medallion depicting a trident (trishula) symbol within a circle. Floral and foliate ornaments flank the cartouche on left and right, with additional Devanagari legends above and below the square. The Nepali Samvat date 1952 appears in the lower field beneath the cartouche. The entire design is contained within a plain inner circle bordered by a continuous outer ring of raised beads. |

The interstices between the petals are filled with stylised foliate scrollwork, creating a dense and ornate overall composition. The design is enclosed within a plain inner ring surrounded by a continuous border of raised beads at the rim. |
