Ducaton `Zilveren Rijder` Flowered edge

Gelderland was among the more financially aggressive of the Dutch provinces, and its ducatons circulated well beyond the Republic's borders — particularly into the Southern Netherlands and German territories, where Dutch silver enjoyed a trusted reputation.
