| Description du revers | Central field depicts the standing figure of Saint Andrew the Apostle, his right hand raised in benediction, with the date divided to either side of the figure. The saint is shown in flowing robes with the X-shaped cross (crux decussata) associated with his martyrdom implicit in the composition. A brief Cyrillic inscription recording the specific issue date appears in the field, reflecting the practice of dating these trade ducats to their precise day of striking. The reverse field is plain with no inner border, giving a clean, uncluttered presentation. |
