| Reverse description | The reverse displays the imperial regalia composed of a royal crown surmounting two crossed sceptres, with the orb (Reichsapfel) positioned at their intersection, all rendered in fine relief against a plain gold field. The crown is depicted with arched form and surmounted by a cross, while the two sceptres cross diagonally beneath it, their tips visible at four cardinal points. A partial arc legend in Latin reads LEGE · ET · FIDE · (By Law and Faith), curving along the upper portion of the field. The composition is compact and heraldic in character, consistent with the Frankfurt coronation ducat series of the late eighteenth century. |
