Reverse description The reverse features a prominent Baroque cartouche with scrollwork, foliate flourishes, and a suspended pendant ornament at the top, enclosing a five-line Latin inscription in bold capital letters arranged across the central field. Below the cartouche base, the denomination indicator 'V' appears in the lower field. The design is enclosed within a plain inner circle and a finely milled outer border that runs around the full circumference of the coin, consistent with the high-quality striking standards of the Bern Mint in the late seventeenth century.
