Drachm with the curly head

Beschrijving voorzijde	Stylized Celtic head facing left, rendered in a highly abstracted La Tène artistic style. The hair is depicted as a mass of sinuous, snake-like curling tendrils radiating from the crown and cascading down behind the neck. The facial features are schematically reduced to a prominent pellet eye and a curved line suggesting the nose and mouth, typical of the late Gaulish coinage tradition. The overall composition fills the irregular flan with energetic, curvilinear movement characteristic of southwestern Gaulish Celtic art.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Divided field featuring a bold linear cross motif quartering the flan into four sections, a hallmark design element of the Sotiates coinage. The upper-right canton contains a pellet or small globule, the lower-right canton bears a large open ring or annulet, and the lower-left canton features a stylized zoomorphic or serpentine motif. The upper-left canton displays an additional curvilinear element. The overall layout is characteristic of the southwestern Gaulish drachm series attributed to the Sotiates tribe of Aquitania.
