| Descrizione del rovescio | Central fire altar with pendant ribbons, upon the shaft of which appears the bust of Vālaxš (Balāsh) facing right, a distinctive feature identifying this ruler's coinage. Two royal attendants stand flanking the altar in profile, each holding a staff or spear. A star and crescent appear in the upper field flanking the flames atop the altar, symbolizing divine royal authority. The composition follows standard Sasanian reverse iconography with minor individuating details specific to this reign. |
