| Obverse description | Triple portrait bust facing right, depicting Wahram II accompanied by his queen and crown prince, all wearing elaborate Sasanian crowns surmounted by distinctive orbs and animal crests. The king's effigy, rendered in high relief, is positioned prominently to the left, featuring a richly curled beard, beaded necklace, and a korymbos globe atop his crown. The queen's bust appears in the centre, similarly crowned, while a smaller third figure — the crown prince — is depicted to the right. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with Inscriptional Pahlavi legends arranged in the field. This multi-figure obverse type is characteristic of the coinage of Wahram II and is unique among Sasanian issues. |

| Reverse description | Central fire altar depicted in high relief, rising from a stepped base and surmounted by a flame, flanked by two attendant figures standing in profile facing the altar. The figure to the left, identified as the king, is robed and armed, placing his hand upon the altar; the figure to the right, likely a deity or royal attendant, is draped and holds a ribboned diadem or barsom. Inscriptional Pahlavi legends appear in the left and right fields. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, consistent with standard Sasanian drachm iconography referencing Zoroastrian sacred fire worship. |
