| Beschrijving keerzijde | The enthroned archer motif, a hallmark of Arsacid coinage, is depicted with the king or deity seated to the right on a throne, holding a bow in the outstretched hand. A Greek monogram 'A' appears to the right of the central figure in the field. The surrounding legend, rendered in Greek script, runs around the periphery of the flan in the customary Parthian drachm format. The design follows the standard reverse type established for late Arsacid silver coinage at the Ecbatana mint. |
