| Reverse description | Standing figure of the deity Oesho (the Kushan syncretization of Shiva) depicted frontally in the characteristic Kushan manner, wearing a tall mural crown or horned headdress. The god stands between two attendant figures or animals, rendered in a heavily stylized and degenerate form consistent with late imitative Kushana copper issues. The field is largely plain with the Bactrian legend partially visible. The overall execution is crude, with shallow relief and irregular flan typical of debased provincial imitative coinage of the period. |
