Obverse description Bust of the ruler facing right, depicted in a stylized Central Asian manner with elaborate headdress and draped shoulders; the effigy is rendered in low relief in the Sasanian-influenced style characteristic of Alchon Hun coinage. A decorative floral or foliate device occupies the right field, executed with pellet-and-branch ornamental motifs typical of Gandharan workshop production. Traces of a Bactrian or Brahmi legend are discernible in the peripheral field, though heavily worn. The flan is irregular and slightly scyphate in profile, consistent with hammered silver production of this period. The overall fabric and style reflect the hybrid Sasanian-Kushan artistic tradition adopted by the Alchon rulers at the Gandhara mint.
