Obverse description Frontal bust of the ruler Toramana II depicted in the Alchon Hunnic style, wearing an elaborate winged or fan-shaped crown with radiating elements, and adorned with beaded necklace and royal regalia. The figure is shown draped, with the bust presented in a stylized, somewhat frontal pose characteristic of late Kushano-Sasanian and Alchon coinage. To the right of the bust, a small animal or attendant figure is partially visible in the field. The design is enclosed within a beaded border, and Brahmi script legends appear in the field, reading approximately as a royal titulature attributable to Toramana II. The overall style reflects the provincial hammered coinage traditions of the Kapishi/Bagram region.
