Obverse description Laureate and bearded head of Sarapis facing right, surmounted by the atef crown — a tall white crown flanked by two ostrich feathers and adorned with a central uraeus serpent. The deity's full beard and flowing hair are rendered with fine engraved detail in the Hellenistic style. The portrait is bold and occupies most of the flan, with no visible legend on this side.
