| Reverse description | A stepped Zoroastrian fire altar occupies the center of the field, its flame depicted rising vigorously from the altar cup at the top. Two royal attendants, each wearing a mural crown with korymbos, stand facing inward on either side of the altar, their hands raised in a gesture of veneration or offering. Inscriptional Pahlavi legends appear in the left and right fields, flanking the central composition. The entire design is contained within a beaded border and reflects the Sasanian dynasty's deep association with Zoroastrian religious practice. |
