Obverse description Bust of the king facing right, rendered in the debased Hellenistic style characteristic of late Western Satrap coinage, with flowing wavy hair and a diadem or headdress visible above the brow. A regnal date appears behind the head, though rendered in a corrupt and largely illegible form. A degraded Greek legend encircles the effigy, retaining only vestigial letterforms from the earlier, more legible Satrap inscriptions. The flan is irregular and the striking somewhat off-center, typical of hammered silver issues of this period.
